Understand Natural Ways to Combat Body Odor much more

Body odor is something that we all have to deal with at one time or another. It often can lead to embarrassing situations, when not dealt with properly. There are many ways that you can combat body odor, and some of the most popular ways are using deodorants and antiperspirants.

However, if you are trying to avoid toxins then you may not want to use these as they contain aluminum and other toxins which are harmful to the body. Here are some natural ways that you can combat body odor.

Living Food Diet

Body odor is caused by the toxins that are brought out of the body through the process of sweating. If you were to have no toxins in your body, then there would be no odor when you sweat.

Therefore the first thing that you will have to do in order to combat body odor is to eliminate toxins from your diet, and start eating lots of living foods such as leafy greens, vegetables, fruits, herbs, nuts and seeds. Herbs such as cilantro, sage, rosemary, thyme and peppermint are very effective in helping you to deodorize your body from the inside out.

Hot Bath

A hot bath will help to promote sweating, and thus it will help you to draw out more toxins from your body in a hurry. Saunas are also very effective in helping, but may not be affordable for everyone.

Shower Frequently

This may not be advice for everyone as not everyone will have time to shower whenever they break into a sweat, but showering often does help.

Ginger

Ginger has many antioxidants which help to loosen the toxins in your body so that they can be removed. Due to the warming effect of ginger, it also promotes sweating. Thus as the toxins are released, ginger eliminates them through sweat.

Ginger tea is a great way to take advantage of this benefit. Keep in mind however, that your body odor will increase temporarily as the toxins are being eliminated from your body.

You can also use the juice from grated ginger and apply it to your underarms after a shower or bath.

Natural Deodorizers

There are many natural deodorizers that you can use such as baking soda, apple cider vinegar and salt crystals. Simply use these as you would other deodorants and apply them underneath your arms. However, you have to keep in mind that these are natural and may not always be as effective as commercial products.
